Justin Zeulner

Mr. Zeulner is an internationally respected leader with decades of experience advancing sustainability, equity, and community resilience across the private, non-profit, and philanthropic sectors. He is the founder and President of The Wave Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to strengthening community health and economic prosperity through innovative, equitable, and environmentally sustainable initiatives. Zeulner works in collaboration with a national coalition of partners to drive progress in sustainable and healthy food systems, zero waste, clean energy and transportation, and clean air and water. His work emphasizes intersectional approaches to climate, social justice, and economic revitalization.

Zeulner is widely known as the pioneer of the sports greening movement and the co-founder of the Green Sports Alliance, an international nonprofit that harnesses the cultural and market influence of sports to promote healthier, more sustainable communities. Under his leadership, the organization expanded its reach to North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia, engaging major professional leagues, collegiate institutions, and high-profile events including the World Cup, Super Bowl, All-Star Games, NCAA Championships, and the Olympics. In collaboration with President Obama, Zeulner helped launch North American Green Sports Day, a landmark initiative to recognize and elevate the environmental impact of sports on a global scale.
